Jonnie is an experienced organisational psychologist.  She is a specialist in the areas of leadership, complexity, peak performance and personal development.  Her passion is helping senior leaders and individuals grow their interpersonal and leadership capabilities as well as enhance their work and life satisfaction generally.


She has a diverse industry background having herself, worked in senior roles in the public sector, primarily in service delivery organisations, hospitality (HR Manager, in a major hotel chain), and in private clinical and organisational development consulting for over 20 years.  These roles have been performed in difficult and demanding operating environments, with complex policy and political agendas. As such, she has an intimate understanding of the complexities facing leaders today, as well as the tools and theoretical knowledge to develop their personal and professional capacities.

Jonnie is a highly regarded lecturer and researcher at QUTs Graduate school of Business and QUT’s School of Management where she teaches and mentors in leadership, complexity and personal development.

As a consequence of her extensive practical and research credentials and experience, Jonnie is able to draw upon many different evidence-based methodologies to assist her clients reach their full potential, both personally and professionally.  She favours a relaxed, non-stressful, client-centred approach based on rich conversations – with a dash of humour!

Jonnie holds a Master’s degree in leadership and a PhD in work engagement and peak performance.
